With immediate effect, travel providers can apply for insolvency protection on the DRSF website (www.drsf.reise). KSP Rechtsanwälte has been commissioned with the onboarding of the travel providers and the contract administration.

Together with the VATM and BUGLAS, KSP is again organising an online infotheque "Consumer Protection & Customer Service" - 15 & 16 September 2021.

Lawyer Jens A. Blaffert will give a lecture on the topic of "Delivery blocking: optimising the blocking process and supporting your customers at the same time" at the bdew symposium "Forderungsmanagement 2021" on 14 September 2021 at 2.30 pm.

While in recent months the regional courts have almost uniformly ruled that the obligation to pay rent does not cease even during a lockdown, the Higher Regional Court (OLG) of Dresden has now considered it necessary to reduce the basic rent to half for that period by adjusting the tenancy agreement pursuant to Section 313 (1) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

The district court of St. Georg, Hamburg has recently issued a ruling on the handling of membership fees for sports clubs with affiliated fitness facilities during the closure due to Corona.

The Federal Court of Justice (BGH) has ruled that rent increases pursuant to Section 559 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and Section 558 of the German Civil Code (BGB) can be enforced independently of each other.

The Hamburg-based company re:ceeve, which offers cloud-based software for the entire dunning process, and the Hamburg-based law firm KSP, Germany's leading provider of legal receivables management, agree to cooperate in the areas of banking and financial service providers as well as in e-commerce.

In view of the rising infection figures nationwide, private travel is to be dispensed with entirely at present. Business people, however, must continue to travel - albeit to a lesser extent. To provide clarity and certainty in the jungle of travel regulations, Wort & Bild-Verlag has developed the new free Corona Travel Check.
