Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz: KSP and Beceptum organize workshop series
The Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz not only has 35 letters, which corresponds to 63 points in Scrabble 🤓, but also a long series of due diligence requirements that must be complied with from 2023.
The scope of application is all companies with 3,000 or more employees, or 1,000 or more in 2024 (in some cases also consolidated consideration within the group), regardless of the industry. The EU Commission's work program for 2023 includes a directive (Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence) that reduces the scope of application to companies with 500 or 250 employees.
Even if the expanded scope and implementation of the directive still seem a long way off, early orientation in the fog is recommended. Good preparation can reduce the implementation effort.
❓ Does my company fall within the scope?
❓ How are my supplier contracts structured?
❓ Which legal positions need to be protected at all?
❓ Do I have the necessary data to perform a risk analysis?
❓ ...and above all, what can I do preventively to uncover risks in good time and be able to react to them?
Joint workshop series
Together with Beceptum International GmbH, we are conducting workshops to prepare for supply chain due diligence requirements.
